SATVIC DAY presents the Master in Yoga & Ayurveda. An intensive one-year training spread over 9 weekends, including a weekend retreat in Montseny.
After living and teaching yoga and ayurveda trainings for several years, we realized that to learn to live the Vedic lifestyle, we will need both learned, because if not yoga or ayurveda is only learning something halfway and we always perceive that something is missing to understand health or preventive.
Yoga is incomplete without training in Ayurveda. The physical practice of yoga is incomplete without the wisdom of ayurveda. Yoga and Ayurveda are inseparable sciences. We could say that Ayurveda is the healing side of Yoga and Yoga is the spiritual side of Ayurveda. That is to say that they complement each other to achieve the well-being of body, mind and spirit. Yoga and Ayurveda are inseparable sciences. Both are born from the Vedas. Yoga is incomplete, the physical practice of Yoga is born from Ayurveda.
To bring back our balance Ayurveda uses four principles of correction called NIDAN CHIKITSA, which consist of four problem diagnosis techniques that pave the way for effective treatments. Treatments include: Purification, Stimulation, Nutrition and Relaxation.
Purification
Kriya yoga to purify and strengthen the motor organs of the body.
Stimulation
Hatha yoga for circulation and bone and muscle structure
Physiological massage
Jaña yoga (philosophy) to stimulate the intellect
Nutrition Knowing the constitution and using the compatible food
Relaxation
